 After talking to Noah Landis for a better part of the evening last night, all conceived notations of what the "designer" from New York and California is supposed to be like was...lets say Dean Martin had a softer kick in the head! Noah was probably the coolest cat I have ever seen since Sherry Vine at Guava Lamp. Now mind you we are not friends, we met just this one time, but when you get this kid talking about his fashion, he sells it to you! A mutual friend Kent (whom Kent Denim is named after and designed by Noah) was wearing some of Noah's clothes, through out the entire night, people were commenting left and right! THEY'RE That good! How Beyonce and Applebottom jeans are extenuating the ladies ass, Noah Landis is doing for the guys!

Non the less throughout the night although I must admit most was in a debate about politics (insert bladge) turned out to be an interesting find! This diamond in the rough is not only a very nice guy, he is also very talented. Therefore I urge you to follow this young man, and watch his clothes rise from these drawings (sketches) to the ones on your backside!

Now being the all seeing Oracle that Wesley is he knows that many of us young gay's had it so easy to come out!

Wesley-Im sorry that I got on your nerves for not coming out in high school or as soon as I figured it out! I didn't mean to inconvenience you in any way, I can say that because you know exactly what it was like for me growing up in a majorly country family! You were there beside me when I was being teased and wished I wouldn't wake up in the morning or that people would just see me! I am so sorry that you had it as hard as most of us did...I usually don't speak to people like this but FUCK YOU! Who the hell do you think you are saying that stuff. You are the reason so many kids DON'T come out until later in life! Do you realize that everyday a young boy or girl kills themselves because they can't handle the pressure! Was it really that easy for you? Maybe if it was you should be sharing your story and helping these kids rather than bashing them...You seriously need a reality bitch slap in the face..

Do any of you Know the story of the dirty night clowns?

“One night the new baby sitter of a couple was taking care of their 6 year old while they went out for diner. As the couple left, the girl crashed on the couch to watch some satellite TV. In between zapping through the channels and being in half a comatose state from the heavy day at school she noticed a clown statue in the corner of the living room. While not being really able to sleep she went to the kitchen to drink something. Slightly refreshed on return to the living room she was caught by surprise that the clown statue had disappeared. She immediately phoned the couple to tell them their clown statue had disappeared. They told her they didn’t have a clown statue. The couple rushed home to find out what happened; a bizarre situation or a crazy baby sitter. The police was contacted, and the same night they caught a midget dressed up as clown. Apparently as stated the clown had spend a week in the house of the couple molesting their 6 year old son.”

Reading this you would think at first this would be the theme to an eighties horror movie. Instead this true story was the inspiration for “Dirty Night Clowns” one of the songs on Chris Garneau’s new album “El Radio”, set to be released this coming June. As gruesome the story, the music of Chris Garneau is anything but horror. It is the type of music you want to play on your iPod while walking away from a heartbreaking relationship, to drown yourself in that misery and realize life isn’t that bad in the end. No wonder 3 of his songs ended up in the American television drama Grey’s Anatomy. Chris Garneau (1982) is a singer songwriter from New York City who has a distinct sound that combines elements of folk, Americana, pop, baroque and carnival music. And as far as referencing music can go I prefer to stick to his influences, which are; Jeff Buckley, Nina Simone, Nico, Chan Marshall and Elliott Smith. I would say that Chris makes music about the mysteries of life, which can be something simple as love or something gruesome as the story above. And as magically this is translated in his instrumentation, the magic of it all is that the songs of Chris Garneau are like a warm cozy coat. And that is what we all want in the end: music that is like a nice warm garment to hide out in. At the end of last year I went for a few days on tour through Europe with Chris, while driving through France he told me all about his difficult start in New York and his new record “El Radio”.

Today I had a breakthrough!

On my way home from work today, it was pouring down rain, freezing wind, my pants were soaked and I was frozen to the bone! Yet for some reason I was very happy I left the place where I earn a living, and heading to the place that it pays for. I am a broke college drop out, who would rather spend his last dollar on a bottle of paint rather than a bag of rice! I love my life, yea I'm not successful, or am I? That is the question I have been asking myself here lately. I am successful because I make the rules to my life. I set my standards and I let no one bring e down! I am always happy and smiling now! No one can take any of that away from me, and no one will!

Art Survey Says!

When asked "What does art say to you?" "Does it make you wonder, are you bored, insert spoon...gag. Being a young artist my art is not titled and is intended to make you think! That way you get your own ideas and it is in a way your own world. Does that make any sense or am I just a weirdo?" these are some of the responses I got!

LAM (from Utah) said..."Art makes me jealous. Jealous of the people who can do such a thing.

To this day I still can't draw stick figures. I even wanted to be an animator at one point in my life. Ha!" Lam has always seemed really negative to me! Anyhoo...

Montgomery is my new bestie...were going to drink tea, and eat danish's in the sun on the porch and talk about a leaf and how beautiful it is! We need more open minded people in the world!
